Yves TRAISSAC joins EURENCO as Deputy CEO

Yves TRAISSAC will join EURENCO as Deputy CEO in charge of operational performance on October 1, 2021.

Yves TRAISSAC holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering of materials and began his career in 1991 as an engineer at SNPE (Société Nationale des Poudres et Explosifs) in the “Propulsion” branch and in the “Research and Technologies” department.

He joined CNES in 1995, where he was in charge of Safety studies for the European Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana, before returning to SNPE in 1999 as Director of energetic materials programs for the Defense and Space activities.

In 2009, he was an auditor at the 46th national session on “armaments and defense economics” of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN).

In 2012, he became head of the Space Programs Department at HERAKLES before joining ArianeGroup in 2015 where he became Vice President of Operations.

There, he participated in setting up the Airbus Safran Launchers Operations organization, then in 2016, took charge of Solid Propulsion operations, before becoming Director of the Vehicle cluster in 2018.

In April 2021, he was appointed Vice President Deputy Technical Director of ArianeGroup. He also joins the Board of Directors of Regulus and EUROPROPULSION, two subsidiaries held in partnership with Italian manufacturer Avio, in charge of solid propulsion for the European launchers Ariane 5 and Vega, and their successors Ariane 6 and Vega-C.
