EURENCO and PGZ signs two strategic agreements to strengthen their industrial partnership and raw materials resilience

Pionki, Poland, October 23nd 2025 – In a new decisive step for the Poland Autonomy strategy, EURENCO and PGZ are pleased to announce the signature of two strategic agreements in the presence of representatives of the Polish government.

The first agreement aims to create a joint venture to produce 155 mm artillery propellants and Bi Modular Charge Systems (BMCS). This company will combine both companies’ expertise, technologies, and industrial know-how to better serve their customers and markets. This strategic investment will enable the construction of a state-of-the-art plant in Pionki, that will begin production in 2028, ensuring a reliable and high-performance source of modular charges within Europe.

In addition, both partners have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for an extended cooperation regarding energetic raw materials entering in propellant, explosives and BMCS. This second project aims to secure sustainable access to key energetic raw materials reinforcing the Poland sovereignty and contributing to a more robust and independent supply chain.

These initiatives further strengthen the existing strategic partnership between EURENCO and PGZ, initiated through successful artillery programs and reinforced with recent long-term energetic nitrocellulose supply agreements with MESKO, subsidiary of the PGZ Group.

By combining EURENCO’s and MESKO expertise and capabilities, these projects venture will enhance the Polish, European and NATO defense industrial base and contribute directly to strengthening the resilience of the 155 mm capabilities in Europe.

Thierry FRANCOU,

The cooperation between PGZ, MESKO, and EURENCO is an example of industrial partnership that truly strengthens the defense capabilities of Poland and Europe. Establishing the joint venture aligns with our concept of building three 155mm ammunition factories, allowing for production diversification and maximizing the expertise of individual plants. It is the first step towards building one of these factories for the production of multi-base powder.

Adam LESZKIEWICZ,

President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa.
